Butterfly Valley
Located in Ölüdeniz, Butterfly Valley is off the beaten track and is a perfect creation of nature surrounded by mountains and beautiful turquoise colour sea. One of the best kept secrets in the area the valley is home to almost 100 species of butterflies and due to the dangerous foot trails down to the valley, warning signs have now been added and the best way to get to the beach is by boat directly from Ölüdeniz. İztuzu Beach
İztuzu Beach in Dalyan is the magnificent golden sandy beach that reaches 4.5km with the Aegean Sea on one side and the Dalyan Delta on the other. The main Ölüdeniz beach is also famous as the landing strip for the paragliders that fly from the Babadağ mountains.

Knidos
Knidos, an open-air museum, was an important Greek city of ancient Caria and one of the most important sites on the Datca Peninsula. Dating back to the 13th century BC and home to the Temple of Aphrodite which holds exquisite statues, it’s a must see when visiting the area. Lycian Rock Tombs
Dalyan is home to some of the most impressive Lycian Rock Tombs dating back to 400BC. The Rock tombs are carved into the cliff face and are best viewed from the Dalyan Delta. The largest tombs are unfinished however, this does not take away from its impressive stature and is architectural wonder. Marmaris Castle
Marmaris Castle is the only museum in Marmaris and a historical landmark in the resort. It is said that the castle was originally built in 1044BC and has been repaired several times throughout history including by Alexander the Great. The castle was used once as a military base in World War 1 and suffered extensive damage. The castle was restored once again in the 80s and is now a popular tourist attraction. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained and from the top of the extensive walls you will also find the most attractive views of the Marmaris Marina and the full resort.
